The Boston-born artist Elodie Pong (b. 1966) lives and works in Zurich. Her installations, performances and video works address highly topical social and cultural issues. Pong鈥檚 work can be described as an aesthetic-experimental exploration of the binding power of cultural codes, norms, and structures in a “post-everything era.” The growing recognition of her artistic potential finds expression in the large number of solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad, in the frequent presentation of her videos at international festivals, in the acquisition of her works by private and public collections and in a number of prizes such as the Namics Art Award (2007) or the Swiss Art Award (2006).

At the festival, her work “Je suis une Bombe” will be screened in the video lounge.
